The Kia Soul will attend this summer's Vans Warped Tour

The uniquely-styled Kia Soul compact crossover was introduced at the Geneva and Detroit auto shows as a concept car. The public's reaction was so overwhelmingly positive, according to the automaker, that a production model will soon be launched.

But before the Soul makes its official debut at the Paris Motor Show (October 4-19, 2008), a pre-production version will be showcased during this summer's Vans Warped Tour, a major punk/rock music event across the United States and Canada.

At every stop of the tour, the Soul Lounge will present various Kia products, led by the Soul of course. A DJ and a tattoo artist will also be on hand to spice things up.

In order to hide the true personality of the Soul until launch date, camouflage masks have been added at the front and rear, portraying the signature Vans' checkerboard pattern. Also, blacked out windows will ensure the interior remains a secret.
